This resolution clarifies that MABCD code enforcement officers who complete inspections under the Uniform Building and Trade Code ("UBTC") may not impose requirements that are not contained within the UBTC or other applicable law.  This will assist MABCD code enforcement staff in maintaining fair and consistent practices.
