RESOLUTION APPOINTING DWAIN SCHNEIDER (BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSION APPOINTMENT) AS A MEMBER TO THE FIRE CODE BOARD OF APPEALS IN THE POSITION OF THE REGISTERED DESIGN PROFESSIONAL WITH ELECTRICAL ENGINEERING EXPERIENCE; OR AN ELECTRICAL CONTRACTOR AS DEFINED BELOW.

Body
The Fire Code Board of Appeals is made up of six (6) members appointed at-large by the Board of County Commission, acting as the Governing Body of Fire District No. 1, including the following restrictions on membership qualified by experience and training to pass upon matters pertaining to the Fire Code; cannot be employees of Sedgwick County or Fire District Number One. Members are comprised, and appointed as follows:
1. One (1) registered design professional that is a registered architect with at least ten years of experience, five of which shall have been in responsible charge of work.
2. One (1) registered design professional with structural engineering or architectural experience.
3. One (1) registered design professional with mechanical or plumbing engineering experience; or a mechanical or plumbing contractor with at least ten years of experience, five of which shall have been in responsible charge of work.
4. One (1) registered design professional with electrical engineering experience; or an electrical contractor with at least ten years of experience, five of which shall have been in responsible charge of work.
5. One (1) registered design professional with fire protection engineering experience; or a fire protection contractor with at least ten years of experience, five of which shall have been in responsible charge of work.
6. One (1) licensed General Contractor with at least ten years of experience regularly engaged in the construction, alteration, maintenance, repair or remodeling of buildings or building services and systems regulated by the code.
