Recommended Action: Approve the Agreement and authorize the Purchasing Director to sign.
The Kansas Procurement Conference sponsored by SBA is designed to connect government buying agents and prime contractors with local suppliers to discuss opportunities to do business. In addition, breakout sessions will be held on topics such as supply chain development, government contracting, exporting and business development programs. The event will also feature a government contracting panel to discuss contracting strategies and Sedgwick County Purchasing Division would have an opportunity to participate in that panel discussion along with the City of Wichita and USD 259. This conference has been held every year since 2011 with the exception of 2014, so this is their fourth event with Sedgwick County Purchasing participating since its inception.
