Recommended Action: Approve the request.
We are experiencing an increased workload in our bookkeeping area due to the demands the Motor Vehicle System has put on counties and it is necessary to hire another person. I would like to change Fiscal Associate Position 20000171 from a B216 to Bookkeeper B217. Budget Impact is attached.
Alternatives: Deny the request.
Financial Considerations: A Budget impact statement for the remainder of 2014 and 2015 is attached. These positions will be funded from the Auto License Fund. The establishment of additional budget authority in the amount of $4,040 is requested to cover the additional costs to the 2015 budget. Additional budget authority is not needed for 2014.
