Notice of Termination of Coordination Agreement - Arena Event/Transit Services.

Recommended Action: Approve the notice of termination letter and authorize the Chairman to sign.
The County had entered into an agreement with the City to coordinate transit (Q-Line) services in connection with INTRUST Bank Arena events and other events. Under the terms of the agreement the County paid the City up to $93,120 each year to support the cost of providing those services. The contract provided for a review of the service level and costs prior to November 1 of each year; and either party could elect to terminate the agreement as of December 31, by providing notice by December 1. After review of the service level and costs, the decision has been made to terminate the agreement effective December 31, 2013, by providing the attached notice to the City.
