Recommended Action: Approve the amendment to the agreement and authorize the Chairman to sign.
Sedgwick County Fire District Number One (“Fire District”) reached an agreement with The James T. Pipkin and Zelda J. Pipkin Revocable Trust ("Owner") on December 21, 2016, where Owner donated a residence to the Fire District for purposes of training and, ultimately, a live fire training event, which would result in the burning down of the residence. The agreement initially contemplated that the live fire training event would conclude by December 31, 2017.
The amendment proposes to extend the time during which the live fire training event may be completed to December 31, 2018. The "Owner" has agreed to the proposed amendment.
