Recommended Action: Approve the public hearing.
Background: K.S.A. 65-3405(d)(3) requires the Board of County Commissioners to hold a public hearing regarding the five-year review of the Sedgwick County Solid Waste Management Plan, including a review of projected solid waste management practices and needs for the next ten-year planning period. The notice of hearing must be published once in the official county newspaper between at least fifteen but no more than thirty days prior to the date of hearing.
