Title

Amendment to the State Fiscal Year 2011 SRS-CDDO Contract.

Presented by: Chad VonAhnen, SCDDO Director.

RECOMMENDED ACTION: Approve the amendment, authorize the chairman to sign and authorize budget adjustments related to the contract.

Body

The Kansas Department of Social and Rehabilitation Services (SRS) and the 27 Community Developmental Disability Organizations (CDDOs) continue to work towards completion of the State Fiscal Year (SFY) 2012 contract. This amendment extends the financial terms of the SFY 2011 contract through September 30, 2011 allowing SRS to process payments to CDDOs. Billing for individual services by community service providers has not been disrupted.

The amendment does not include State General Funds as they were eliminated by the Kansas Legislature in the SFY 2012. As the SFY 2011 contract amounts will differ from the SFY 2012, and any adjustments will be made upon completion of the SFY 2012 contract. The dollar amounts included in the amendment are equivalent to one quarter of the annual payment from SRS.
