The Kansas Juvenile Justice Authority announced the releasing of grants to juvenile detention facilities operating in the State of Kansas according to the percentage of licensed capacity of each juvenile detention facility. The amount awarded to Sedgwick County will be $109,707.

Financial Considerations: Fund Center 33037-253 has been used for past JDFF grant awards. The SFY12 award is $14,970 more than the SFY11 award.
Legal Considerations: The authority for this action is K.S.A. 19-101. A simple majority is required.
