Resolution to Amend the Maximum Number of Members on the Citizens Advisory Board in the Third County Commission District.

Recommended Action: Approve the resolution.
Resolution No. 22-2017 established the Citizens Advisory Board (“CAB”) for the Third County Commission District. The resolution indicated that the CAB would contain between 7 to 10 members. There is a desire to increase the maximum total membership to 11 members. The sole change to Resolution No. 22-2017 would be to allow there to be up to 11 members.
Alternatives: Not to approve the resolution.
Financial Considerations: N/A
Legal Considerations: The County has the authority to amend the maximum number of CAB members pursuant to K.S.A. 19-101 et seq. Approval is by simple majority vote.
