Background: This resolution will amend resolution 267-07, which was passed in December 2007. The amendment permits the County Manager to waive job posting procedures when he deems it appropriate. The addition to the resolution is listed under section IV part B.
Alternatives: Do not amend the resolution.
Financial Considerations: None
Legal Considerations: The Board of County Commissioners has authority to adopt personnel policies and procedures pursuant to K.S.A. 19-212. This action will require a simply majority vote.
