Recommended Action: Approve and authorize the Chairman to sign.
Real property held by the county should be shown as owned in the name of "Sedgwick County, Kansas." One property owned by the county, EMS Post 3, is shown in the public records as owned in a variation of that name. In order to have the public records reflect the appropriate name of ownership, a quit claim deed has been prepared and requires approval from the Board of County Commissioners. This will keep all real property held by the county in a consistent name of ownership.
