Recommended Action: Set the public hearing and direct the County Clerk to publish the notice of hearing.
A public hearing is required to be held on the proposed incorporation and adoption of a code pursuant to K.S.A. 12-3303. This agenda item proposes to set a public hearing during the Board of County Commission meeting on Wednesday, August 15, 2018 at 9:00 A.M. for the adoption of the International Residential Code, 2018 Edition, with amendments noted within a draft resolution.
Alternatives: Elect to not set the public hearing or set it for a different date.

Legal Considerations: Pursuant to K.S.A. 12-3303, a public hearing is required to be held for the adoption of this code and a notice of that public hearing is required to be published prior to it being held
