Grant Summary and Timeline: This is a one-year renewal of a federal New Freedom Section 5317 grant that would provide continued operating assistance for specialized transportation that exceeds the American with Disabilities Act to access health care for low-income persons with disabilities in the urbanized area. This area includes Wichita, Bel Aire, Derby, Goddard, Haysville, Kechi, Maize, Park City and Valley Center. This funding has been received since 2008.
