In a recent land transaction involving the sale of County property, the title company requested a resolution in the form attached confirming the sale as authorized by statute/county policy; and identifying the persons authorized to sign closing documents, etc. This resolution confirms the sale of SCFD Fire Station #36 at 6400 S. Rock Road and authorizes specific County officials and employees to sign closing documents.
RECOMMENDED ACTION: Adopt the resolution.

Policy Considerations: The County could not adopt the Resolution and wait to see if the title company request for this specific transaction; this could cause a slight delay in the process.
