A resolution adopting a revision to the Sedgwick County, Kansas Grant Application and Award Policy.

Recommended Action: Approve the resolution.
Background: The last revision made to the Grant Application and Award Policy was on June 27, 2012. This revision will adjust the policy to allow the County Manager to approve grants as described in the "Sedgwick County Grant Policy Outline" attached. Notice of approvals done in accordance with the revised policy would be provided to the Board of County Commissioners.
Alternatives: Do not approve the resolution, and all grants above $10,000.01 will need to be approved by the Board of County Commissioners.

Legal Considerations: The authority for this action is K.S.A. 19-101, et seq. A simple majority vote is required.
