Title
A resolution authorizing sale of unredeemed real estate after tax sale.
Body
Recommended Action:  Adopt the resolution.
Background:  This resolution allows the Board of County Commissioners to proceed with tax foreclosure on appropriate real properties as required by law.
Alternatives:  In order to comply with state statutes mandating tax foreclosure, there are no alternatives to passage of this resolution.
Financial Considerations:  None.
Legal Considerations:  The Board of County Commissioners is required to proceed with tax foreclosure whenever the aggregate assessed valuation of real estate subject to tax foreclosure is $300,000.00 or more, or the aggregate amount of delinquent taxes, including special assessments, is $10,000.00 or more.
Policy Considerations:  Passage of this resolution is necessary for the Board of County Commissioners to comply with state statutes mandating it to institute the tax foreclosure proceedings.
