Recommended Action: Approve the donation and authorize the Chairman to sign the Quit Claim Deed
In 1994, this Kellogg Street parcel (Reserve A, Block 1, Fawnwood Addition, Sedgwick County, Kansas) was deeded to Sedgwick County. This parcel is surrounded by public right of way and is currently annexed into the city of Wichita. This parcel will benefit the City of Wichita as they work to acquire right of way for the next phase of frontage roads on west Kellogg.
Alternatives: The Commission could choose not to approve the donation of real property.
Financial Considerations: Appraised value of the parcel is $100
Legal Considerations: The Board is authorized to convey any real estate owned by the County by K.S.A. 19-101 third; and under the county policy regarding disposition of surplus property.
Policy Considerations:
