Financial Considerations: Per the agreement, KDOT will reimburse Sedgwick County for 80 percent of the cost of inspection. The total cost is estimated at $40,053.50, which results in anticipated reimbursement of $32,042.80. This reimbursement will be recorded in cost center the Inspection and Testing cost center, 21006-206, GL 33330. Costs incurred by Sedgwick County related to this agreement are funded by the 2013 Adopted Budget.
Legal Considerations: The County is authorized to enter into contracts with the Secretary of Transportation to participate in the benefits of federal aid funds under K.S.A. 68-402b.
