The Kansas Department of Social and Rehabilitation Services (SRS) has historically provided 1/3 of the cost share of materials, supplies and other operating expenses of the Exploited and Missing Childrens Unit (EMCU). This letter renews the contract including any amendments from 2011. Based on the 2011 contract and amendment the funding would be $39,411 for 2012.
Recommended Action: Approve the contract renewal letter and authroize the Chairman to sign.
Alternatives: Do not sign the letter and absorb the costs in the County General Fund.

Legal Considerations: The authority for this action is K.S.A. 19-101. A simple majority vote is required.
