Agreement for EMS Services between Sedgwick County and SMG Management/Intrust Bank Arena.

Recommended Action: Approve the agreement and authorize the Chairman to sign.
SMG management in partnership with Intrust Bank Arena (IBA) desires to have Sedgwick County EMS personnel onsite during certain events to provide medical care should an emergency arise wtih a guest or staff member. SMG/IBA would be charged a personnel and equipment fee per event as outlined in Appendix A of the agreement. The term of the agreement is for one (1) year effective January 1, 2018 and terminates December 31, 2018.

Financial Considerations: Approval of this agreement would generate approximately $30,000 more revenue in 2018 than in 2017.
Legal Considerations: The authority for this action is K.S.A. 19-101, et seq. A simple majority vote is required.
