DONATION FROM WEST ELEMENTARY PTA, VALLEY CENTER.

RECOMMENDED ACTION: Accept a donation in the amount of $100 to the Research and Development Fund to go toward the Elementary Education Program and authorize the Chairman to send a letter of appreciation.

All donations made to SCFD 1 are to be received through the Research and Development Division for disbursement.
Financial Considerations: Approved by Division of Finance Complies with Kansas Budget Law and Cash Basis law. The Board of Directors of the Research and Development Division will disburse the donation to underwrite expenses associated with SCD 1 Fire Elementary Education per the request of West Elementary PTA, Valley Center. Cost Center 14001-242.
Policy Considerations: The Board of County Commissioners as the governing body of Sedgwick County Fire District 1 has the authority to accept donations on behalf of the Fire District.
