Grant Summary and Timeline: The Sedgwick County Department on Aging (SCDoA) is requesting a continuation of funding for the 3rd year of a three year grant award to continue from April 1, 2012 to March 31, 2013. SCDoA will continue to provide a match of 30% in support of the program.

Volunteers serve veterans and military families, provide support for disaster preparedness, work to support environmental sustainability, and help seniors live independently. With this grant continuation RSVP will continue to match and provide volunteer opportunities for individuals age 55 and older. SCDoA will continue to staff the program with a full time director/program manager. SCDoA staff will continue to provide knowledge, experience, and expertise for the program.
