The Sedgwick County Department of Corrections has provided clinical experiences for Butler Community College nursing students since the Fall of 2011. This agreement is effective for 18 months and represents an important collaborative partnership with the educational community.
Alternatives: To not enter into this partnership.
Financial Considerations: The agreement involves no cost to Sedgwick County.
Legal Considerations: The authority for this action is K.S.A. 19-101, and a simple majority vote is required.
