On April 14, 2010 Sedgwick County entered into an agreement with the Mental Health Association of South Central Kansas (MHA) for the Girl Empowerment Program. On August 25, 2010, the State of Kansas Juvenile Justice Authority awarded an additional $6,500 to MHA to purchase equipment, supplies and client incentives. With the additional funding, the new compensation total = $21,193.The additional funding must be spent by September 30, 2010.
