Grant Summary and Timeline: KDHE provides Aid to Local Grant Funding opportunities to support specific or targeted health service needs on an annual basis. The Aid to Local Grant application opportunity covers many, but not all, of the grants awarded from KDHE to the Health Department. Grants from KDHE and other sources account for approximately 63% of the total Health Department budget. This grant represents 16% of the Health Department budget and 25% of all grants received.
