The application for this grant has a very short time frame. The funds distributed from this grant will continue to support the Community Emergency Response Team (CERT) program. Funds from this grant will be used to support the basic CERT training classes for citizens in Sedgwick County, as well supplemental training and exercises for those volunteers that have completed the basic training class. Funds will also be used for printing disaster preparedness information to be distributed through the "Ready to Respond" program and at local fairs and festivals.
