Recommended Action: Approve the submission of the domestic water well code changes to the Kansas Department of Health and Environment for its review and approval.
Whenever the Board of County Commissioners updates a sanitary code, it is required by State statute that such changes be submitted to the Secretary of the KDHE for review and approval prior to the adoption of those changes. Changes are administrative in nature to align the code with current policies and MABCD management/administration of code activities.
Alternatives: Do not approve the submission of the domestic water well code changes to the KDHE for review and approval.
