Recommended Action: Approve the resolution.
Background: This resolution will amend resolution 6-2013 which was passed on January 9, 2013. The amendment reinstates article 1 of Chapter 6 of the Sedgwick County Code. This will clarify that only the Building, Mechanical, Plumbing and Electrical Codes are being repealed due to the adoption of the Joint City-County Unified Building Code. Resolution 6-2013 wrongfully included the Structure Moving, Rental Housing, Sign Code and Manufactured Housing Codes. This clarifies that they are not being repealed.
