ACCEPTANCE OF A DONATION FROM AIR PRODUCTS AND CHEMICALS.

RECOMMENDED ACTION: Accept the donation of $7,500.00 and authorize the Chairman to sign a letter of appreciation.

Air Products and Chemicals has donated $7,500.00 to the Research and Development fund to help underwrite expenses associated with the Sedgwick County Fire District #1 Haz Mat Team.
Financial Considerations: With approval of this agenda item, establish budget authority of $7,500 in 14001-242 Personnel. Approved by the Division of Finance, and complies with the Kansas Budget Law and Cash Basis law.
Policy Considerations: The Board of County Commissioners as the governing body of Sedgwick County Fire District #1 has the authority to accept donations on behalf of the Fire District.
