Recommended Action: Approve the agreement and authorize the Chairman to Sign
This agreement formalizes for 2011 the joint funding and management of the Wichita-Sedgwick County Flood Control Operations. Prior versions of this agreement have contributed to successfully maintaining the Wichita-Valley Center Flood Control project since its completion in the late 1950's.

Financial Considerations: The City of Wichita and Sedgwick County share equally in the cost of the maintenance, repair and operation of the Wichita-Valley Center Flood Control project. The 2011 Adopted Budget includes a County contribution of $960,979 to the City-County Flood Control for these purposes. At the end of each year, any remaining unencumbered funds are returned to each party on an equal basis. Fund Center: 23002-110
