Sedgwick County Emergency Medical Service (SCEMS) employees recently formed an internal association with the primary purpose to promote the physical, mental, professional and social well-being of the employees of Sedgwick County EMS. Much like the Association of County Employees (ACE), the Sedgwick County Emergency Medical Service Employees Association (SCEMSEA) will focus on recreational and educational opportunities, as well as recognition ceremonies and annual awards for EMS employees who have accomplished or have met specific personal or professional milestones.
The Association is a voluntary program and is requesting automatic payroll deductions for its members as outlined in Resolution 188-05.
