Body
This contract allows for the distribution of USDA-donated commodities to the City of Andale. The Emergency Food Assistance Program (TEFAP) is available to anyone who meets income guidelines. It has been successful in helping low income persons in rural areas meet their nutritional needs. Community agencies are available within the City of Wichita, and a few organizations are available outside the city limits to coordinate distribution of commodities. Our responsibility is to coordinate volunteer pickup of the commodities reports and compile and submit monthly reports to the Kansas Department for Children and Families.
