Thirteen (13) 2015 Aging mill levy contracts for in-home and community services.

Recommended Action: Approve the contracts and authorize the Chairman to sign.
Background: These 13 contracts are for In-Home and Community Service programs such as Senior Companion, Meals on Wheels, Roving Pantry, Commodity Delivery and Legal Services that assist older adults to live quality lives and remain in their home for as long as possible. The contract is for the period beginning January 1, 2015 through December 31, 2015.
Alternatives: Not approve the contracts.
Financial Considerations:
The funding recommendations were approved by the Sedgwick County Advisory Council on Aging on September 10, 2014.

Budget Authority Adjustment: Sufficient authority is included in the 2015 budget, no additional budget authority is being requested.
Legal Considerations: The County can enter into the referenced contracts under its home rule powers, as provided for by K.S.A. 19-101 et seq. Approval is by simple majority vote.
