Recommended Action: Approve the One Year Extension for ASIFLEX.

Application Software, Inc. (AsiFlex) provides administrative services for Section 125 flexible spending accounting plans for Sedgwick County employees.  The original agreement with AsiFlex was entered into on May 12, 2011, for an initial term of two (2) years with County having two (2) one-year options to renew.  The County exercised both options, the current of which expires December 31, 2016.  An extension of the original contract is necessary for calendar year 2017.

Alternatives:

Financial Considerations: The 2017 administrative rate will remain at the same level as the 2016 administrative rate at $2.95 per participant per month. In 2016 this was an approximate monthly cost of $3,800.
