In 1985, a countywide sales tax was enacted and one half of the proceeds were pledged to road and bridge projects. In 1990, a county resolution created the Sales Tax Road and Bridge Fund. There are inconsistencies between the intent of the 1985 sales tax authorization and the 1990 resolution creating the Sales Tax Road and Bridge Fund. This resolution will update the 1990 resolution to correct the inconsistencies.
Alternatives: Take such action as the Board of County Commissioners deems appropriate.
Financial Considerations: None anticipated as a direct result of adoption of the resolution.
