Recommended Action: Approve the amendment and authorize the Chairman to sign.
The Sedgwick County Treasurer's Office has leased 2,871 square feet of space at 2120 N. Woodlawn since 1989. This location provides a Tag Office substation for Sedgwick County. The current lease will expire on December 31, 2016. The Treasurer's Office has requested a month-to-month lease with termination by either party upon 30 days written notice.
Alternatives: The BoCC could choose not to approve the Lease Amendment, in which case the Treasurer's Office would need to relocate staff at this location.
Financial Considerations: The lease rate remains the same at $31,581 annually and no budget additional budget authority is being requested.
Legal Considerations: The authority for this action is K.S.A 19-101, et seq. A simple majority is required.
