Recommended Action: Approve the range reallocations.
Fourth Quarter 2016 Compensation Study Recommendations: Recommending 14 position classification range reallocations due to changes in job duties. See attached spreadsheet for budget impact amounts.
Alternatives: Do not approve the reclassification requests.
Financial Considerations: $52,784 additional for change in pay and benefits on an annualized basis. The reclassifications will be effective on December 18, 2016. NOTE: No additional funds are being requested as a result of these requests.
Legal Considerations: The Board of County Commissioners has authority to establish personnel policies and procedures pursuant to K.S.A. 19-212.
Policy Considerations: This action is being requested in compliance with policy 4.2001 Wage & Salary.
