Approval of Community Programs' Delegate Agency 2017 Funding Agreements.

Recommended Action: Approve the agreements and authorize the Chairman to sign.
These agreements outline the legal relationships between the County and two of the three Community Programs' delegate agencies which are approved for funding in the 2017 adopted budget. These are renewal agreements as the County has funded each of these agencies for several years. The agencies and funding amounts are:
The Kansas African American Museum, Inc. $172,827.00
Wichita-Sedgwick County Historical Museum Association, Inc. $ 90,218.00
TOTAL: $263,045.00
Financial Considerations: Fund center 56001-110. Adequate budget authority exists in the program budget for 2017.
Legal Considerations: KSA 19-101 provides the authority for this action. A simple majority vote is required. The terms and conditions of these agreements are substantially similar to prior agreements.
