A petition for de-annexation of certain properties from the City of Valley Center was filed on February 18, 2015. At a special meeting on February 24, 2015, the Board set a hearing date for April 8, 2015. A second, related, petition was filed on February 27, 2015, that included the properties described in the first petition, but also added a number of additional properties in the same area as the first petition.
