Schedule public hearings for adoption of new plumbing, mechanical, and electrical codes within the Wichita-Sedgwick County Unified Building and Trade Code ("UBTC") to replace the existing plumbing, mechanical, and electrical codes within the UBTC.

Recommended Action: Set date of hearing as described on attached notice of hearing, and instruct the County Clerk to publish the same according to law.
Background: K.S.A. 12-3303 allows a county to adopt any code by reference to give notice thereof by publication once in the official county newspaper. Such notice shall identify the code proposed to be adopted and that are of the county in which the same will be applied, and fix the time for the holding of a public hearing before the Board upon the same.
Alternatives: None--statute requires hearing be set and notice provided to the public.
