Title
Addendum to the SFY 2015 Contract between the Secretary of Kansas Department for Aging and Disability Services and a Community Developmental Disability Organization.
Body
Recommended Action: Approve the Addendum and authorize the Chairman to sign.
Addendum 2 to the Contract between the Secretary of Kansas Department of Aging and Disability Services and a Community Developmental Disability Organization (CDDO) clarifies the State's intention with regard to any future changes to administrative funding for CDDO's.  For the FY 2015 contract with CDDO's, the State changed their method for calculating the administrative funding.  Conversations between the CDDO's and the State continue on the most appropriate method for calculating this funding.  The addendum provides assurance that if any changes are made that result in additional administrative funds, the State intends to pass that on to the CDDO's who have already signed their annual agreements.
Alternatives: The addendum is a sign of good faith by the State and does not substantially alter the terms or conditions of the original contract.

Financial Considerations: No current financial considerations, any new funds would be distributed in the same manner as indicated on the annual contract agenda item (14-1548).
Legal Considerations: The authority for this action is K.S.A. 39-1805, as well as K.S.A. 19-101 et seq. A simple majority is required.
Policy Considerations: None
