PUBLIC HEARING REGARDING THE 2015 FIRE DISTRICT 1 BUDGET.

Body

This is the first public hearing to be held regarding the 2015 Fire District 1 budget recommended at $17,627,925, which includes a property tax levy of $15,112,206. The property tax levy is approximately equivalent to a property tax rate, expressed in mills, of 18.348 mills. The mill rate is based on the estimated assessed valuation and subject to review and technical adjustments.

The second scheduled budget hearing for Fire District 1 will be held on August 11, 2014, at 9:00 a.m. in the Commission Meeting Room on the third floor of the Sedgwick County Courthouse. The budget is scheduled to be adopted on August 13.
