RECOMMENDED ACTION: Approve acceptance of the donation and authorize the Chairman to sign a letter of appreciation.

Air Products and Chemicals Incorporated have a long-standing commitment with community partners to assist with worthy initiatives, programs and projects that are not normally part of established budgets. Air Products, located at 6601 S. 71st St. W., has committed a donation of $1,000.00 to Sedgwick County EMS. The donation will be used to support several employee and patient safety initiatives and programs.
Alternatives: N/A
Financial Considerations: The total amount of the donation, $1,000.00, will be deposited into cost center 12003-258. If approved, budget authority should be authorized, and any balance remaining at the end of 2014 should be transferred to 2015.
Legal Considerations: The authority for this action is K.S.A. 19-101. A simple majority is required.
