Thirty days after the end of each calendar quarter the Finance Division produces a report that explains the county's financial status in relation to the adopted budget and the prior year, and projects revenues, expenditures and fund balances as of the end of the year. The report for the first quarter of 2014 was delivered to Commissioners April 30 and has been posted on the county's website for review by interested citizens. This presentation will summarize the highlights of the report, show measures of county financial condition and compliance with key county financial policies, and identify risk factors that could adversely affect county finances in the future.
