Title
A resolution amending Exhibit A of Sedgwick County resolution No. 189-2013 providing for the applicability of the Kansas Personal and Family Protection Act to County-owned and County-leased real property.
Body
On October 16, 2013 the Board of County Commissioners approved resolution No. 189-2013.  That resolution prohibited any County owned or leased facility from posting Conceal Carry denial signage except on those building identified in an attached Exhibit A.
Two changes have occurred since the approval of that resolution last October that require Exhibit A be amended to remove three facilities from the list:
1.  On or before January 1, 2014, the City of Wichita elected to remove the Conceal Carry prohibition signs on two facilities they owned and leased to Sedgwick County for the Health Department and the Environmental Resources that were listed in Exhibit A as "County Leased Facilities Where the Landlord Prohibits Concealed Carry".
2.  The COMCARE Children's Services lease at 7701 E. Kellogg terminated and the program has relocated elsewhere.  That property was listed in Exhibit A as a "County Leased Facilities Where the Landlord Prohibits Concealed Carry" and thus needs to be removed from the list.
