Granting credit for property tax relief in the amount of $221.64.

Pursuant to Resolution 172-2013 and K.S.A. 2013 Supp. 79-1613 this matter comes before the Commission for approval. The procedure outlined on September 18, 2013 was followed and the following property owners were found to qualify for property tax relief.
Recommended Action: Approve the property tax relief request.
Alternatives: To not grant property tax relief credit to the owners of homesteads destroyed or substantially destroyed as a direct result of events or occurrences declared a disaster by the Governor.
Financial Considerations: $221.64 total credit in the following amounts:
$102.67 credit for Lynn Richter for property PIN 60005576;
$118.97 credit for Rebecca Aue for property PIN 60007445.
Legal Considerations: This action is authorized pursuant to K.S.A. 2013 Supp. 79-1613.
