Legal Considerations: An applicant for a license to sell alcoholic liquor at retail in the original package on premises not located in an incorporated city must provide to the State of Kansas, Alcoholic Beverage Contro Director, a resolution of the board of county commissioners approving of the issuance of such a license as a condition of obtaining the license, per K.S.A. 41-303. The location is zoned appropriately for this business. The location meets the requirements of K.S.A. 41-710. Minneha Township has been notified as a courtesy.
