Financial Considerations: The County share of the project is $37,500 and would be funded through an amendment to the 2013 CIP.  Sufficient budget authority exists in the sales tax fund to support the recommended action.   

Legal Considerations: The County is authorized to enter into contracts with the Secretary of Transportation to participate in the benefits of federal aid funds under K.S.A. 68-402b.
